This piece is in 3 movements; 1. Mayor's March, 2. Glee Club, 3. Fairgrounds. The march is marked "Pompously" and humorously plugs along and is interrupted by some intentional 'wrong' notes. The middle movement is chorale like and reminiscent of old-style singing groups and barber shop quartets. The last movement is a lively 6/8 march with staggered entrances and sounds of the old carnivals. This piece can be played by 2 euphoniums and 2 tubas or 3 euphoniums and 1 tuba.
